Tom has experience in a wide variety of powertrain research ranging from transmission control and the calibration of internal combustion engines to integrated thermal management of hybrid vehicles and electrochemical degradation mechanisms of fuel cells and batteries. His primary research interest is focused on hydrogen powertrains with a particular focus on the systems-level optimisation of hydrogen fuel cell hybrid vehicles.
